Broken Heart

Has your broken heart been mended?
Can't mend a broken heart
Just seal it with cellotape
Hope it won't fall apart.

Has your mistakes been amended?
Words said, can't be taken back
Actions done, will as that
Just move on, instead of regrets.

Has your hurt been attended?
Don't seek for revenge
Don't ask for it again
Learn the lessons from the pain.

Has the hurt been intented?
Don't look back, and ask why it all has to happen
Things just happen, but it always got a reason
Just somehow, can't be apprehended.

Does broken heart really mend?
Maybe, but there will always be a hairline crack
Just gotta be careful next time around
That there is no need to pick up pieces from the ground
For the scar is there, not a blemish
It is a hidden blessing
It is a reminder
What one has today
Is a produce of yesterday
What will be lost tomorrow
Is going to be a produce of the present's sorrow.

Does broken heart really mend?
Why not cross over and think again
Take the first step across the meadows
Witness what it has in store
Is it only a good heart will know the greatest thing of the future?
Or the broken heart, is only a slight gesture?

So ...
Do you really need to mend a broken heart first?
Take a moment to ponder, take a wild guess
For I know, it is better than it gets
For the greatest rewards it has begets.

So ...
What is really a broken heart?
It is just the pain of having to re-start.
